WHY ADD IT
The liner covers the inner perimeter, hiding the air beams and X-pole structure.
Daylight diffuses through the 68D poly taffeta — less glare, less contrast.
Moist breath and steam meet the liner first, slowing condensation on the outer skin.

FREQUENTLY ASKED
Yes. The liner is sized 240 × 270 cm (94.5 × 106.3 in) to hang inside the 280 × 280 cm Cubex 2.8 shelter and has no standalone structure.
No. The 450 mm PU coating is for light interior duty — buffering condensation and stopping splash. The outer shelter skin is the actual waterproof layer.
Designed only for the Cubex 2.8. Other Monterra shelter sizes are a different footprint and the attachment points won't line up.
Air-dry fully before packing. Spot-clean with mild soap and water. Pack into the included pouch only when completely dry — sealed wet fabric can mildew.
Two to three minutes once the parent shelter is pitched. The liner attaches at points pre-set on the inner frame.
Both. Ships from our warehouse in BC. Standard option is ocean-then-ground; express adds air freight for a faster timeline.
FROM THE CURATOR
"We don't carry inner liners as a habit — most shelters don't need one. The Cubex 2.8 is an exception. Its X-pole frame and air beams are visible from the inside, and on cooler shoulder-season nights the outer skin will collect condensation. A poly-taffeta liner solves both of those at a kilogram and a single pouch — easy enough to leave home in mid-summer, easy enough to bring when the forecast turns."
