What people ask before adding a liner to their shelter.
What's the difference between an inner liner and an inner tent?
An inner liner is a thin breathable layer for thermal and condensation management — it does not create a separate sleeping enclosure. An inner tent is a full enclosed structure with its own walls and floor, suspended inside the main shelter.
Does the liner actually keep me warmer?
Modestly. The thin air gap between the liner and the shelter wall adds a passive insulating layer — not a heat source, just a barrier against direct contact with the cold wall. Noticeable on shoulder-season nights, less significant in mid-summer.
Will it stop condensation entirely?
No, but it manages it. The breathable PU coating lets vapor pass through, while liquid drops get caught before they fall onto bags and gear. Bigger temperature differentials between inside and outside still produce more condensation overall.
Does it fit the G450 or T720+?
No. The liner is sized to the TN600 interior. The G450 and T720+ have their own dedicated inner-liner products.
