Most camp tables push the fire to one side and the cooking to the other. The Octa is a 94 cm octagon with a 50.5 cm hole through the middle, so the fire pit or stove stands on the ground and the table rings it - six to eight people at one heat source, with a surface in front of every seat. It arrives complete: the two-piece inner table set, four adjustable legs and a padded carry bag are all in the box, and the four plates stay hinged so the ring folds as one piece. All four carry standardised IGT side rails and connect holes rather than one designated edge, so an IGT side hanger mounts wherever you want it and a Biloc Ribera or another IGT multi-function table bolts on to extend the ring outward. Slide the inner table in and the open centre closes into a 2-unit IGT bay.

Folds as one piece

All four plates stay hinged together, so the ring collapses in one motion to 75.5 x 24 x 14 cm. Nothing comes apart in the bag and nothing gets left behind on the site.

The carry bag ships with the table and has separate lined compartments for the outer table, the inner table set and the four legs, so the plates do not rub against each other in transit.

Four adjustable legs, included

The four legs supplied set to five fixed heights from 30 to 50 cm. Run it at 30 cm for low chairs around a fire, or 40-50 cm to sit at chair height and line up with a connected IGT table. The leg mounts take other adjustable IGT legs too.

The inner table set is included

The two-piece inner table set drops into the centre and slides home, closing the opening into a 2-unit IGT bay. It comes in the box, so the Octa arrives able to run two IGT units through the middle with nothing else to order.

The fire sits in the table, not beside it

A 50.5 cm square opening runs right through the centre, so your fire pit or stove stands on the ground and the table rings it. Six to eight people sit around one heat source instead of crowding a side table. The fire pit shown is not included.

All four plates are punched with standardised IGT side rails and connect holes, so an IGT side hanger mounts wherever you need it - and a Biloc Ribera or another IGT multi-function table bolts on to extend the ring outward.

Two stainless grades, stated

201 stainless for the plates, 304 for the legs, and every cut edge is deburred. Corner handrails tie the four plates into one rigid ring and double as a hang point.

Leave the middle out and the table becomes a ring around your fire pit or stove. The heat source stands on the ground, everyone gets a surface, and nobody is reaching over the flames to put a cup down.

Slide the two-piece inner table set in - it comes in the box - and the opening becomes a 2-unit IGT bay. Run a burner in the bay, or cap the slots with Biloc IGT Table Top Plates as shown here for one continuous surface; the top plates are sold separately. Either way the centre opens again for the fire when the evening turns.

What this is, and what it is not

A fire-centred table for a group

A 94 cm octagonal ring that puts six to eight seats around one fire pit or stove, with IGT rails on all four sides.

Table only - the gear is separate

The table rings your fire pit or stove; it does not contain the fire. You receive the outer table, the two-piece inner table set, four adjustable legs and the padded carry bag. Everything else in our photos - burner units, baskets, side hangers, lanterns, fire pits, chairs and other tables - is a separate purchase.

Unfold, align, bolt, drop the legs in

The four plates stay hinged together. Unfold the ring, align the groove at each seam and tighten the bolt, then twist-lock the four legs to height.

Standard IGT gear, legs you can swap

Side rails and connect holes on all four plates take standard-spec IGT gear, side hangers and multi-function tables. Unit dimensions differ slightly between manufacturers, so check yours before ordering.

Is the inner table included?

Yes. This set ships as the outer table plus the two-piece inner table set, four adjustable legs and the padded carry bag. Fitting the inner table closes the centre and gives you a 2-unit IGT bay.

Can I put a fire pit in the middle?

That is what the 50.5 cm centre opening is for. Your fire pit or stove stands on the ground through the opening rather than on the table, so the heat source is independent of the frame.

What is included, and what is only shown in the photos?

In the box: the outer table, the two-piece inner table set, four adjustable legs and the padded carry bag. Our photos show it built out with separate gear so you can see what the rails and connect holes carry - burner units, wire baskets, side hangers, lantern arms, fire pits, chairs and other tables. None of that is included.

Will my existing IGT units fit?

Yes. The rails are cut to the standard IGT profile, and we have checked standard-spec units drop straight in.

How low does it go?

The four legs supplied give five fixed settings from 30 to 50 cm (11.8-19.7 in). 30 cm suits low chairs around a fire; 40-50 cm brings it to chair height and lets it line up with a connected IGT table. The leg mounts also take other adjustable IGT legs, so you are not limited to that range.

How much does it hold?

50 kg (110 lb) spread across the ring. That is a distributed figure, not a single-point load, so keep heavy items spaced rather than stacked.

How does it pack down?

All four plates stay hinged, so the ring folds in one motion to 75.5 x 24 x 14 cm (29.7 x 9.4 x 5.5 in). The padded bag has separate compartments for the outer table, inner table and legs.

Octagonal fire-ring tables have been an expensive corner of the market, and the ones that set the template ask a lot before you have added a single thing to them. The Octa comes in well under that, and the part that decided it for us is what comes in the box. On most fire-ring tables the centre insert is the upsell you discover after you have paid - you buy the ring, then you buy the panels that turn it into a usable table. Here the two-piece inner table set is standard, so the Octa arrives able to run two IGT units through the middle with nothing else to order. Add the rail on all four plates rather than one, and it keeps earning its space after the fire goes out.
