Minimal Works builds the Super Position MGX-600 as a hybrid shelter: two aluminum A-frame poles carry the structure while a TPU air frame inflates the canopy between them. A built-in battery pump raises it in a single inflation, and the brand sizes this model larger than the pole-only Superposition — more cabin volume for two without changing the family's setup logic.
Built around the hybrid frame
Two aluminum A-frame side poles anchor the geometry and a TPU air-frame canopy inflates between them — the vendor's hybrid system, stable on the poles and taut on the air frame.
Body fabric is 75-denier polyester ripstop with PU coating, rated to 2,000 mm hydrostatic head — vendor positions this as a denier upgrade over the base Superposition.
The door and side panels include mesh windows — open them for cross-ventilation or a private view out while the canopy stays attached.
The side shield panels lift outward as awnings, so you can keep the wall open for ventilation — Minimal Works notes they stay usable even on rainy days while the canopy keeps rain out.
Roof vents plus both side mesh ventilation openings circulate interior air and help prevent condensation through changing temperatures.
Per Minimal Works, every air frame goes through factory QC inspection before shipping — meant to catch the air-leak issues that have plagued the air-tent category.
STRUCTURE
Two aluminum A-frame poles set a fixed, repeatable shape and take the structural load, while a TPU air frame fills the span between them. Minimal Works pairs the two systems so the shelter holds a rigid form like a pole tent yet rises quickly like an air tent. The TPU tubes inflate from a built-in pump in a single inflation.
AIRFLOW
A mesh door panel and roof plus both-side ventilation circulate air through the cabin, which Minimal Works notes helps prevent condensation. The side panels can be opened for airflow on rainy days while the shelter stays covered, and a roll-up panel side eases entry and exit. The 600 by 430 cm footprint leaves room for two people with chairs, a table, and a cot.
INTERIOR SPACE
Side round poles pull the walls outward where typical A-frames pinch in.

Minimal Works
A two-person hybrid shelter — aluminum A-poles plus a pump-inflated TPU air frame.
SKU: MGSHSH01SPMGXGO0FC
Charge the pump battery with a 5 V USB charger rated at 10 W or less, and do not use 9 V or higher chargers. Per the vendor, keep each charge under 3.5 hours, and store the pack at about 50% charge if it will sit unused for a long time. A manual hand pump is included as a backup if the battery runs flat.
The body is a 75D ripstop polyester with a PU coating rated to a 2,000 mm hydrostatic head. The side panels open for ventilation even in light rain while the shelter stays covered. Minimal Works highlights its own QC process, noting every air frame is tested before shipping to reduce air-leak issues.
The MGX-600 is rated for 2 people. Pitched, it measures 600 by 430 by 230 cm (236.2 by 169.3 by 90.6 in) with a 245 cm (96.5 in) peak. Minimal Works states it adds roughly 20 cm of width and length and 10 cm of peak height over the pole-only Superposition.
The kit includes the body shell, two aluminum A-frame side poles, six guy lines, two webbing strings, the built-in battery air pump, a manual hand pump, and three carry bags. Tent pegs are not included with the shelter. The body weighs 14.6 kg (32.2 lb), with a total shipped weight of about 16 kg (35.3 lb).
Minimal Works is a new anchor brand in our lineup, and the Super Position MGX-600 is the hybrid that shows why — pole-grade structure with air-frame setup. We bring it into British Columbia directly, so you order the Korean-market shelter without the import legwork.
