Where exactly does this install?
On the T-250 Air Shelter (K251T3T28) front or rear door, OR on the T-250 Vestibule (K251T3T30) wall panels. Same open-zipper standard on both — zip the fabric door out, zip this panel in.
Does it work on Albion or other Kazmi tents?
No — this panel is cut to the T-250 module zipper standard only. For the Albion line, see the matching Kazmi AON Albion TPU Window (Smog) — K251T3T27.
Why smog instead of clear TPU?
Per KZM's comparison ratings: better UV blocking (five vs two stars), better privacy from outside (four vs one), better yellowing resistance (four vs one), and reduced interior glare and heat.
Will rain leak through the zipper?
KZM discloses that during persistent or heavy rain, mesh-mount TPU zippers may see minor seepage at the zipper seam — not a defect, but expected behaviour. Most weather is fine.
Does TPU yellow over time?
All TPU yellows somewhat over years — KZM discloses this is inherent to the material. Smog TPU yellows less than clear and disguises remaining shift better thanks to the dark tint.
How does it behave in cold?
KZM notes TPU stiffens at very low temperatures. Handle the panel gently below roughly -10 °C / 14 °F — avoid sharp creases when cold to prevent stress whitening.
What about privacy at night?
An inner panel zips over the window from inside the shelter — full privacy at night while keeping the daylight benefit during the day. No tear-down needed.
