Maxtrax is an Australian-founded company that specializes in recovery boards for your vehicle. Unsatisfied with the traditional recovery tools on the market, founder Brad McCarthy devised the idea for Maxtrax in 2001 after a particularly stressful incident on a remote North Queensland Beach where he almost lost his bogged vehicle to the incoming tide. Since then, Maxtrax has become a leading supplier of recovery traction boards and other recovery gear.
