Shipping Policy
We deliver to residential and commercial addresses in all provinces of Canada and most states in the United States.
To determine the shipping cost for a product, please add the item to your cart and enter your postal code in the shipping estimate field.
Once an order is successfully shipped, the customer will receive a shipping confirmation email. This email includes order details, a shipping tracking link, and an estimated arrival date. Customers can track their order status in real-time through this email.
For international shipments, customs duties and taxes may apply according to customs regulations. Duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer, and for detailed information, please check with your country and specific destination.
We do not ship to countries other than the United States and Canada, and we do not ship battery products via air transport.
Shipping Protection with Route
Bigtent Outdoor recommends Route Protection for delivery orders. By deselecting Route package protection, Bigtent Outdoor is not liable for lost, damaged, or stolen items. If customers order for pickup, they should remove Route Protection.
Route offers tracking services and shipping protection extending coverage to online purchases that are lost or damaged in transit, or stolen after the carrier’s proof of delivery where Route traces the transportation. Route App, Inc. (Route) is the named insured on the shipping insurance policy (“Policy”); Safe Order Solutions (“SOS”), Route’s licensed producer entity, procures the Policy from SEG Insurance Ltd. Route, through SOS, may receive compensation for its services and for your participation in Route. With respect to goods purchased on a subscription basis, adding Route to an initial subscription purchase will automatically add Route premium and shipping protection to all subsequent installments of said subscription. General Shipping
Shipping fees are automatically calculated at the time of order and may vary depending on the type of products ordered, quantity, and destination.
When purchasing alongside items eligible for free shipping, only the shipping fees for those specific items will be charged.
All ordered products must adhere to size and weight requirements set by shipping carriers such as Canada Post, USPS, UPS, and CANPAR (No dimension greater than 2m, weight less than 30kg).
Regions with Additional Shipping Fees: While we strive to maintain uniform shipping fees, some areas may incur extra charges. This is primarily due to factors such as remote locations, limited access, or higher logistic costs. Specifically, in Canada, orders shipped to regions like Yukon, Newfoundland, and certain rural areas are subject to these additional fees. Similarly, in the United States, shipping to Alaska, Puerto Rico, and Hawaii may also incur extra charges. We are committed to transparency in our shipping practices. And we will provide detailed information on any additional fees that may apply to your order by email after checkout.
Express & Priority Shipping
Orders placed before 1PM PST time on business days (Tuesday through Friday) will be shipped the same day. Orders received after the cut off time will be processed on the next business day.
Shipping to P.O. Boxes
Please allow for additional time for orders being delivered to mailbox addresses.
For orders being delivered to PO Boxes, rural postal codes, and locations considered as Beyond Points, we can only ship through Canada Post standard delivery.

Pickup Option
If you would like to pick up your order directly from our showroom located at 904 Sherwood Ave, Coquitlam, BC V3K 1A6, Canada, we will refund the shipping fee for that order upon pickup.
Redirecting An Order
Please ensure that the shipping address is accurate as orders cannot be redirected once they have been dispatched.
Jackery Shipping
Jackery products are available for shipping to Canada only.
Shipping fees are automatically calculated at the time of order and may vary depending on the type of products ordered, quantity, and destination.
iKamper Shipping
iKamper products are available for shipping to Canada only.
iKamper rooftop tents are shipped via palletized freight, and therefore, a flat rate fee of C$230 is applied to the shipping cost.
Due to the palletized freight method, please allow 1-3 weeks for delivery, based on business days.
iKamper rooftop tents are heavy items and may require additional manpower during the delivery.
iKamper Accessories Shipping
iKamper accessories are available for shipping to Canada only.
Shipping fees are automatically calculated at the time of order and may vary depending on the type of products ordered, quantity, and destination.
For items that are too large or fragile to be shipped via Canada Post, UPS, or CANPAR, we have a partnership with FASTFRATE, a specialist in large parcel freight transportation and delivery.
How it works:
When making the payment, please select the delivery option for large parcel items.
We will contact customers before shipping to schedule a delivery date and appointment time at the local terminal.
On the day of delivery: iKamper rooftop tents are heavy items and may require additional manpower during receipt. It's advisable to seek assistance from family or friends.
Please make sure to inspect the contents of the delivery during the delivery. If you have any concerns regarding the condition or packaging of the ordered items, please describe the issue on the delivery receipt provided by the driver and contact us for assistance.
If you received a package that is suspected of damage
We make every effort to ensure that your products arrive in perfect conditions.
In the event that the ordered product arrives damaged or in a defective condition during shipping, customers can immediately contact customer service to resolve the issue.
To successfully address the situation, there are several important steps to follow:
Step 1: Before opening the damaged package, take photos of the packaging as it arrived with the product inside.
Step 2: Unbox the product and inspect its contents carefully, paying close attention to any damage to the packaging or any broken parts.
Step 3: Document the damage to the product with photographs, including the box, contents, and the damaged areas.
Step 4: Report the issue along with the photos by emailing info@bigtentoutdoors.com and provide a description of the situation.
If you received iKamper Roof tent that is suspected of damage
When you first receive a new iKamper RTT and are not satisfied with its condition, there are several important steps to successfully resolve the situation.
Step 1: Take several photos that accurately show any damage that occurred on the exterior of the delivery truck's box.
Step 2: Obtain delivery driver information after discussing the issue with the driver.
Step 3: Document the box's condition on the delivery receipt and take photos of the box. (Signing documentation that the driver acknowledges damage to the box can be helpful.)
Step 4: Report the issue along with the photos by emailing info@bigtentoutdoors.com and provide a description of the situation.
Remember: It's better it have more details especially in uncertain situations
Also, keep in mind that if a return is necessary, you must retain the box.
If you are not satisfied with the product's condition, customers have the right to refuse package acceptance upon delivery. However, don't forget to follow the above steps.
Shipping Within Canada
Small-scale item orders are shipped through Canada Post, UPS, and CANPAR. Insurance is applicable in case of damage or loss during shipping, and applicable provincial and federal taxes are applied when the order is processed based on the shipping location of the product.
Most orders are shipped from British Columbia (BC), and in addition to shipping times, processing may take 1-2 business days. Some remote addresses may experience longer shipping times.
Shipping Within The U.S
Orders are shipped via UPS or USPS standard mail. Insurance is applicable in case of damage or loss.
Applicable provincial and federal taxes are applied when the order is processed based on the shipping location of the product.
Most orders are shipped from British Columbia (BC), Canada, and processing may take 1-2 business days in addition to the indicated shipping times. Isolated and rural areas may experience longer delivery times.
Customs and fees may be imposed.
Taxes
If an order is shipped to the following provinces or territories, Bigtent Outdoors must collect the applicable taxes as described.
PROVINCE/TERRITORY and APPLICABLE TAX
- British Columbia (BC): 7% PST on merchandise and freight plus5%, GST on merchandise and freight
- Alberta (AB): 5% GST on merchandise and freight
- Saskatchewan (SK): 5% GST on merchandise and freight
- Manitoba (MB): 5% GST on merchandise and freight
- Ontario (ON): 13% HST on merchandise and freight
- Quebec (QC): 5% GST on merchandise and freight
- New Brunswick (NB): 15% HST on merchandise and freight
- Nova Scotia (NS): 15% HST on merchandise and freight
- Prince Edward Island (PE): 15% HST on merchandise and freight
- Newfoundland and Labrador: 15% HST on merchandise and freight
- Northwest Territories (NT): 5% GST on merchandise and freight
- Yukon (YT): 5% GST on merchandise and freight
- Nunavut (NU): 5% GST on merchandise and freight
Warranty Policy
If you ever experience an issue with one of our products, please visit our Contact Page and fill out the 'Leave your message' form. We'll do our best to solve the problem as soon as possible.
Claymore Warranty (2 Year Warranty)
- For 1st year from the date of purchase, Bigtent Outdoors will provide the repair or replacement for defective parts at no cost. Some shipping or handling charges may be involved.
- For 2nd year from the date of purchase, Bigtent Outdoors will provide the repairs or replacement for defective parts at a minimum cost (productions cost). Shipping or handling charges will be involved.
Claymore warranty does not cover all issues, such as the ones below:
- Damage caused when the warranty period is over.
- Damage caused due to the user’s mishandling, abuse, or improper operation.
- Damage caused by arbitrary or personal repair or disassemble at an unauthorized service center.
- Damage from input electricity or cable defect.
- Damage caused by natural disaster
NOTE*
iKamper Canada is only authorized to provide warranty services to iKamper products purchased through an authorized dealer. All iKamper products purchased through a third party or unauthorized dealer will void all warranty services including but not limited to damages, replacement parts, and defective parts.
iKamper Warranty (2 Year Limited Warranty)
- First 2 Years : For 2 years from the date of purchase, iKamper will replace (at our discretion) defective parts at no cost to the customer. iKamper will provide replacement parts, but the customer will be responsible for installation.
- Extended 3 Years : For 5years from the date of Purchase, iKamper will repair or replace(at our discretion) defecitve parts at minimum cost(production cost). Shipping is covered by the customer.
Kitchen Systems, Sleep Systems, & Rooftop Tent Accessories Warranty (1 Year Limited Warranty)
- For 1 year from the date of purchase, iKamper will replace (at our discretion) defective parts or products at no cost to the customer.
iKamper warranty does not cover all issues, such as the ones below:
- UV damage: ultra-violet damage to fabric or gel coat.
- Normal wear and tear, cosmetic blemishes occurring as a result of use (vinyl window discoloration or damage, scratches/dents on the rooftop tent shell, etc.)
- Damage caused by the customer (misuse, accident, abuse, etc.)
- Damage caused by acts of nature (storm damage,wind damage, etc.)
- Aesthetic changes that do not affect the general operation of the rooftop tent.
- If the product is arbitrarily repaired or modified by the customer.
Jackery Warranty (2 Year Warranty)
- The warranty period for Jackery power products is 24 months.
- Bigtent Outdoors will replace any Jackery product that fails to operate during the applicable warranty period due to defect in workmanship or material.
- A replacement product assumes the remaining warranty of the original product.
Jackery Warranty does not cover all issues, such as the ones below:
- Misused, abused, modified, damaged by accident, or used for anything other than normal consumer use as authorized in Jackery's current product literature.
- Attempted repair by anyone other than an authorized facility
- Any product purchased through an online auction house.
- Jackery's warranty does not apply to the battery cell unless the battery cell is fully charged by you within seven days after you purchase the product and at least once every 6 months thereafter.
Nanga Warranty
- Lifetime Warranty: If the sleeping bag needs to be repaired, Nanga headquarters(in Japan) will provide the repair or replacement for defective parts at no cost. The round-trip shipping costs need to be paid by the customers.
Nanga warranty does not cover all issues, such as the ones below:
- Damage caused due to the user’s mishandling, abuse, or improper operation.
- Damage caused by arbitrary or personal repair or disassemble at an unauthorized service center.
- Damage caused by a natural disaster.

⚠️ This warranty applies only to customers who purchased directly from Bigtent Outdoors or an authorized dealer. Warranty does not cover second-hand purchases and clearance-sale items.
Return & Refund
Thank You for Shopping at BigTent
As with any shopping experience, we understand that sometimes a product may not meet your expectations. In that unlikely event, we invite you to review the following terms related to return and refund.
Rooftop Tents (iKamper Canada)
We strive to ship your order as quickly and efficiently as possible, and we hope you receive your order soon. If you need to cancel your order, please take note of the charges below:
- Any order cancellation issued pre-shipping will incur a 3.5% charge to cover admin and credit card fees. Please visit our Contact Page for us to proceed with this process. Please note that it may take up to 10 days for the refund to appear in your bank account.
- Due to the difficulty and cost of transporting an item the size of an RTT, no refunds or returns will be given after your RTT has been shipped or picked up. If you cancel your RTT order while it is out for shipment, you will incur a 15% deduction from your refund to cover shipping charges and a restocking fee associated with the late cancellation.
- If you require an address change after you have received a shipment confirmation email, you will be responsible for any re-consignment fees and/or holding fees that your freight incurs with an en-route address change.
We do stand by the quality of our products, and iKamper RTTs comes with a 5-year limited warranty.
Roof Top Tent Accessories & Kitchen System
If you would like to cancel your accessory item order, there will be a 3.5% cancellation fee associated with the cancellation. Please visit our Contact Page for us to proceed with this process.
Once your accessory has been shipped, refunds will be given up to 30 days after the shipping date. If 30 days have gone by since the shipping date, unfortunately, we can't offer you a refund or exchange (other than for items covered by our warranty).
If you would like a refund or exchange, you will be responsible for all shipping costs: Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund for a return, the cost of shipping to and from our warehouse will not be included in your refund. Please consider using a trackable shipping service: we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
General Returns of Unused or Unopened
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food and coffee cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.
To Cancel an Item of an Entire Order
Please send an email to info@bigtentoutdoors.com with your order number and the items you would like to cancel. Or please visit our Contact Page and fill out the 'Leave your message' form.
If your order hasn't shipped yet, our team will cancel and you will receive your refund through your original form of payment. However, if your order has already shipped, the refund request will be processed in place of the cancellation request. You may have to return the item or items in the original condition back to our warehouse.
Change of Mind Return
Please get in touch with us first by phone or email with your order number and the items you wish to return. Once your return request has been approved, and after the return shipment has arrived back to our warehouse, we will replace or refund your order, excluding shipping costs, within 30 days of receipt.
All returned merchandise must be in a new condition and in resalable condition in the original manufacturer’s labeled packaging. You will be responsible for the return of the product back to our warehouse.
In some cases, particularly for large and heavy items, your return may be subject to a restocking fee.

There are Certain Situations Where Only Partial Refunds are Granted
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error. Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
- Original condition / Resalable: 100% refund
- Opened box / Unused: 90% refund
- Damaged packaging / Unused: 80% refund
- Missing product protections / Unused: 50% refund
- Product damaged / Used: Refund is NOT available
- Shipping costs are not refundable
Sale Items
Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@bigtentoutdoors.com with your order number, photos showing the damage, an explanation of the defect, and any other important details to help us to verify the problem.
And send your item to Bigtent Outdoor Equipment Ltd., 904 Sherwood Ave, Coquitlam, BC V3K 1A6, Canada.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will email you to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original payment method within a certain amount of days.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and still have not received your refund, please get in touch with us at info@bigtentoutdoors.com.
Shipping
To return your product, you should mail your product to Bigtent Outdoor Equipment Ltd., 904 Sherwood Ave, Coquitlam, BC, Canada V3K 1A6.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Return Procedure
- Repackage your product securely with a copy of your packing slip. Please ensure items are in a new condition and in resalable condition in their original packaging.
- Contact us to make sure you have the correct return address and receive your return authorization.
- Choose what carrier you would like to send it with.
- Record and retain tracking information. We cannot be held responsible for items lost in shipping.
- Once our warehouses confirm that they have received it back in resalable condition, we will process the refund.
Price Matching & Protection
We want to ensure that you are happy with your shopping experience. With that said, Bigtent Outdoors will attempt to price match your purchase if a competitor offers it at a lower price.
Price Matching
- If a product purchased through us is available for a lower price, please refer us to the product page (URL link), and we will attempt to match it’s price.
- This does not apply to price differences from the source of our website. It may take a few days for the price adjustment to take effect on Google Shopping.
Note* The product must be exact and in-stock to validate the price protection
Price Protection
- If one of our products has a price drop within 30 days of purchase, contact info@bigtentoutdoors.com with your original order number and Invoice.
- Bigtent Outdoors will create a Store Credit (a coupon code) for the difference in price, excluding taxes and shipping.
- Store Credit cannot be used in combination with other coupon codes.
- Store Credit will expire in 6 months after activation.
- Price Protection does not include Clearance sales, Holiday sales, Black Friday, and Flash sales events.
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from bigtentoutdoor.com (the “Site”).
Personal Information We Collect

Data Retention
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
Currency Conversion
By using our website, you (the visitor) agree to allow third parties to process your IP address, in order to determine your location for the purpose of currency conversion. You also agree to have that currency stored in a session cookie in your browser (a temporary cookie which gets automatically removed when you close your browser). We do this in order for the selected currency to remain selected and consistent when browsing our website so that the prices can convert to your (the visitor) local currency.
