20D Nylon Ripstop Fly
A 20D nylon ripstop fly keeps pack weight down while standing up to repeated trips.
Country

The X-Core N is a 2-person double-wall tent built around a lightweight duralumin frame, so the whole package packs down to 2.9kg (6.4 lb). Its front fly sets up three ways -- staked out as an open vestibule, propped up as an awning, or closed all the way to seal the tent against wind and rain -- so one shelter covers open-air lounging and full weather protection. A 20D nylon ripstop fly rated to 2,000mm, a separate mesh inner tent, and a propped top vent work together to shed rain and manage condensation as conditions change.
Details
A 20D nylon ripstop fly keeps pack weight down while standing up to repeated trips.
The fly and floor are PU-coated and rated to a 2,000mm waterhead, shedding rain and staying water-resistant.
A separate fly and inner tent create a double-wall build that buffers weather and helps manage condensation.
Mesh panels on the inner tent move air through the interior, keeping it fresh on warm nights.
The 210 x 150 x 110 cm (82.7 x 59.1 x 43.3 in) inner tent gives two people room to sit up and stretch out.
A pole-holder tip seats each pole quickly, making setup easier and more repeatable.
SR buckles connect and tension the tent fast, cutting down setup and takedown time.
A propped vent at the top of the fly circulates air and helps minimize condensation inside.
A wall mesh pocket keeps a phone, headlamp, or small items off the floor and within reach.
Large mesh ceiling panels open the inner tent up for airflow and a clear view of the sky.
How It Works
Front Open
Stake the front fly out as a vestibule or prop it up as an awning -- covered space for gear and cooking, with a clear view out and airflow through the tent.
Front Closed
Bring the fly all the way down to seal the tent against wind and rain, with the 2,000mm 20D fly and top vent keeping the inside dry and breathable.

From the curator
Most 2-person tents make you choose up front: an open, airy shelter or a sealed one for bad weather. The X-Core N's three-way front lets you decide on-site instead -- throw the fly open for a lake-view evening, then drop it closed when the wind picks up -- and it still packs to 2.9kg on duralumin poles. That flexibility, in Black or Tan, is why it earns a spot.
