Answers to what TN600 owners ask before adding the groundsheet.
Is a groundsheet really necessary?
It's not technically required — the TN600 floor is waterproof on its own. But on rocky, root-strewn, or muddy sites, a groundsheet extends the life of the shelter floor by years and keeps the interior cleaner. Most owners use one.
What does the bathtub edge do?
The 15 cm uphill walls run around the perimeter. Water flowing under the shelter hits a wall instead of a floor seam, so it can't seep up into the shelter. Useful for wet ground, snow, and sites that pool water during rain.
Does this fit the G450 or T720+ shelter?
No. The footprint is sized specifically to the TN600. The G450 and T720+ have different floor shapes and use dedicated groundsheet products of their own.
How does it attach to the shelter?
Three steps. Orient the Gopamir labels on the groundsheet to the two side-door positions. Snap the square toggles into the existing O-rings on each air-beam column. Hook the remaining attachments to the view-door anchor points.

Why I keep one on every trip.
The TN600 floor is waterproof on its own, but the first time you set up on a gravel pad or a root-strewn forest site, you start noticing every pebble that grinds against the seams. A groundsheet absorbs that. The 15 cm bathtub edge does the other half — water flowing under the shelter stops at a wall instead of finding a stitch. It is not the part you brag about, but it is the part I never leave at home.
