Do I need to buy this if I already have a TN600?
No, not for normal use — the shelter ships with one pole included. This product is the standalone replacement for when the original gets damaged, or a backup to carry on remote trips where replacements are hard to find.
What is Duralumin A7001-T6?
Aerospace-grade aluminum alloy used in aircraft structural members. High strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion-resistant, and holds shape through repeated pack-and-deploy cycles. The same material used in the original pole.
Does this fit the G450 or T720+ shelter?
No. Each Gopamir shelter has its own pole specification. The G450 and T720+ have separate spare-pole products under different SKUs.
Should I switch to the spare if my original still works?
The brand recommends keeping the original pole as the primary if it is undamaged. Switch to the spare only when the original is broken or lost — that keeps the redundancy in place for the next trip.

Yes. Weight-based air surcharge shows at checkout — duties and customs covered, no surprise bills later. Five days versus the standard six-week ocean lead time.

We stock this one because Gopamir builds the pole to the same spec as the original — duralumin A7001-T6, identical dimensions — not a cheaper substitute that fits but flexes differently under load. If you're heading somewhere remote or running back-to-back trips, this is cheap insurance against ending the week early.
